The Medical College of Wisconsin has more than 900 physicians on its faculty providing patient care through the College's physician group practice composed of: Medical College Physicians, which consists of physicians providing care in every specialty of medicine; and Children's Specialty Group, which is a joint venture of the Medical College of Wisconsin and Children's Hospital and Health System and consists of specialty physicians providing care to children.
Medical College physicians also teach, conduct research, and work with faculty scientists to develop new ways of preventing and treating diseases. Indeed, patients of Medical College physicians have access to some of the finest, most advanced care available.

Froedtert Hospital is the primary teaching affiliate of the Medical College. Major Froedtert & The Medical College of Wisconsin clinical programs include:

Other specialties and areas of expertise include senior health, hand rehabilitation, limb reattachment, diabetes research and treatment, dysphagia, and urology.

Medical College of Wisconsin pediatric specialists are on the staff of Children's Hospital of Wisconsin, the only Wisconsin hospital dedicated solely to the care and treatment of children. Founded in 1894, Children's Hospital serves children with all types of illnesses, injuries, birth defects, and other disorders.
The only Level I Trauma Center in the state devoted to pediatrics is located at the hospital. Children's Hospital has 222 beds that include a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Hematology/ Oncology Transplant Unit, and Short Stay Unit. The hospital is known for its nationally recognized Heart Center and has more than 60 specialty clinics.

The Zablocki VA Medical Center has been a major teaching affiliate of the Medical College since 1946. All physicians who staff the hospital are full-time faculty of the College. The VA Medical Center provides 176 acute care hospital beds. Annually, it admits 5,900 patients and records nearly 387,000 outpatient visits. It is one of the busiest and most comprehensive centers operated by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Approximately $12.6 million in research (funded primarily by the VA and the NIH) is conducted by College faculty at the Zablocki VA Medical Center.
