Human Research Protection Office Under the direction of the Human Research Protection Office (HRPO), the Medical College of Wisconsin and Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital Institutional Review Boards hold the primary responsibility to protect human subjects involved in research studies conducted by departments, centers and institutes.
