MCW Libraries is transitioning from Ovid CINAHL to Ebsco CINAHL. Beginning January 1, 2009, Ebsco CINAHL will be the ONLY search option for this database. Ebsco CINAHL is available now to search and use. Simply go to the All E-Resources web page and click on CINAHL–Ebsco link.
Ebsco CINAHL contains the same data as Ovid CINAHL, but with additional full-text resources. However, the search interface is different from Ovid. Learn more about how to search Ebsco CINAHL by attending one of our classes in November and December.

Ovid Browser Requirements
Additional information for Mac users Microsoft no longer supports Internet Explorer for the Mac. Therefore, Ovid is unable to provide support for their browser. Also, Ovid is not compatible with Apple Safari. You will need to use Mozilla Firefox or Netscape.

An Ovid personal account is no longer required for most users. Users connecting to Ovid from the MCW Network (MCW, CHW and FH users) do not need a personal account. MCW, CHW, and FH authorized users that connect to Ovid from home using an Internet Service Provider such as Road Runner or AOL will be able to connect, without a personal account, through the libraries' proxy server.
