Community Partnerships

Partnership serves as the cornerstone of public and community health at MCW. Principles that guide our partnerships include Developing common goals, Building trust and respect, Emphasizing strengths and assets, Open communication and feedback, Flexibility, mutual benefit and shared resources.

Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin

Advancing a Healthier Wisconsin is an endowment of the Medical College of Wisconsin committed to improving the health of Wisconsin residents.

Healthier Wisc Partnership Program

In 1999 Blue Cross & Blue Shield United of Wisconsin became a for profit stock corporation, transfering 100 percent of its value to a new public health foundation, split equally between the University of Wisconsin Medical School and the Medical College of Wisconsin.

Office of Public and Community Health

The Senior Associate Dean for Public and Community Health provides overall leadership for public and community health at the Medical College of Wisconsin. The Council on Public and Community Health is comprised of senior faculty and staff leaders.

Degree Granting Programs

The Medical College of Wisconsin is dedicated to leadership and excellence in advancing Education and the preparing of physicians and scientists of tomorrow while enhancing the skills of today's health professionals.
